This site is for kids and fans of all ages. Here you will find a little bit of everything and a lot of memories. There have been a lot of those over the years ... The Tic Toc Toy Shop, Uncle Al, The Contemporaries, The Larry Smith Puppets Show. Then there are the characters everyone has come to love so much ... Hattie the Witch, Snarfie, Rudy, Teaser, Big Red, Nasty Old Thing, Spooky the Ghost, and Mean Old Cat, to name just a few.

Over time, we've all grown up and some have moved out of the reach of Hattie and her mischief. But Hattie is never far behind. Through the internet she has found a way to reach to the farthest corners of the world ... even farther than her crystal ball could show her! Hattie's motive, of course, is to recruit as many new "fiends" as she can. But always working to keep her at bay are Teaser, Snarfie, Rudy, and the gang trying to recruit as many new friends as they can.

Whether you're a ''fiend" of Hattie's or a friend of all the gang, stop by for awhile, relive old times, and maybe make some new memories.

The OFFICIAL Homepage of Larry Smith Puppets !!
On April 14, 2001, I had the honor of meeting and spending some time with Larry at his home and workshop in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Larry, Hattie, and the gang are retired now, although you may catch them around town every now and then. My visit was truely a treat any fan would love to have. I was thrilled to see all the familiar characters I grew up with LIVE and in person, at any moment jumping to life from their storage space by Larry himself! It is a true testament to Larry's work that not only have his characters endured for so long, but parents who grew up with the show have brought themselves, and thier children, to see Larry perform. As Hattie once sang in her Thanksgiving Reunion Special: "Don't throw the past away, you might need it some rainy day, dreams can come true again, when everything old is new again!"

After many years of entertaining thousands of kids young and old with tales of Hattie the Witch and all the gang, Larry has retired from performing.

All of us who have had the opportunity to see him perform will always be grateful for the good times he has given us over the years. This site will continue to be maintained indefinately.

So from all of us, and for all of us ....
Thanks Larry for everything you've given us over the years. You're one of a kind.
Larry was honored with several awards at The Media Heritage Voice of America Museum. I will post photos and comments as soon as I am able.
