The Tic Toc Toy Shop aired on WHIO-TV channel 13 in Dayton, Ohio from 1954 - 1956. Larry was 14 years old and earned $3.00 per show. He was a freshman in High School and had to get permission from the Board of Education to miss some of his classes. The original Teaser the Mouse and Rudy the Rooster shown on this page were made from papier-mache'. |

A fan writes in that the man with the Ben Franklin glasses on the right is Joe Rockhold, known to WHIO fans as "Uncle Orrie". He had his own kids TV show on WHIO in the 60's. The fan remembers him wearing a civil war cap. The clown may be "Nosey, the Clown", portrayed by Jack Jacobson.
